The Mission is de originele soundtrack, gecomponeerd en gedirigeerd door Ennio Morricone voor de film The Mission uit 1986 van Roland Joffé. Het album werd uitgebracht op 5 augustus 1986 door Virgin Records.[3][4]
De partituur werd uitgevoerd door het London Philharmonic Orchestra en het koor London Voices onder leiding van David Bedford. De muziek werd opgenomen in de CTS Studios in Londen met ingenieur en opnametechnicus Dick Lewzey. De muziek won de BAFTA Award for Best Film Music en Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score in 1987.
